DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis annual grant helps to facilitate projects ranging from human rights to environmental issues. A creative approach to important stories that might otherwise go untold is highly valued.\nThe National Press Photographers Foundation Inc. (NPPF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is charged with advancing photojournalism through education and awarding scholarships and fellowships to deserving individuals who have demonstrated ability or promise in the field of visual journalism. NPPF supports the work of photojournalists who play a critical role in the free flow of visual information in a healthy democracy.\nCandidates must submit a complete application package. This includes personal contact information, a concise biography highlighting your professional experience and commitment to completing a significant project, and a CV with contact details for two to three professional references. Submissions must also feature a project title and a brief summary (under 2500 characters). This should be accompanied by a detailed project proposal (under 4000 characters, including spaces) that explains the project the photographer plans to undertake, provides a brief timeline, and details how they intend to use the grant funds.
