Landskrona Open Call 2026

For their 2026 edition, Landskrona Foto Festival invites artists and photographers to submit projects for their outdoor exhibition programme, responding to the theme Displacement.

Displacement can be understood in many ways – being forced to leave one’s home, navigating political upheaval, or feeling out of place in a rapidly changing world. It may arise from conflict, climate change, economic hardship, or broader societal shifts. It can also refer to internal, emotional, or existential states of dislocation.

They welcome a wide range of photographic approaches – documentary, conceptual, archival, or experimental.

Selected projects will be exhibited in public spaces throughout Landskrona, including their specially designed outdoor structures located in parks, city squares, and other urban environments. Artists may propose works that fit their existing formats or suggest new, innovative ways of presenting photography in the public realm.

Awards:

The award includes an exhibition opportunity as part of the Landskrona Foto Festival, taking place from 4 to 20 September 2026 in Landskrona, Sweden. Selected artists will receive an artist fee of €900, and all production costs for the outdoor exhibition will be fully covered by the festival.
