SUMMARY:Grants Ronan Guillou 2024
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Ronan Guillou Grants are launched as part of the Civis Maritimus program, developed by the Eyes Wide Open association, which aims to explore the relationship between Man and the Sea, and to challenge the essential issues facing the Ocean.\nCivis Maritimus invites artists and researchers to think about the relationship between Man and the Sea, two elements of a shared biodiversity and heritage: protecting them means reconnecting with our own nature and preserving us all. In tribute to the photographer from Roscoff, a humanist with a passion for the marine world, who passed away in 2022, Civis Maritimus has chosen to call these creative grants for photographers Bourses Ronan Guillou. Based on the same territory – the Occitanie region – Civis Maritimus invites two photographers from Europe and the southern shores of the Mediterranean, each to produce a committed photographic project.\nTwo creative bursaries will be awarded to two European photographers from a Mediterranean country, with the challenge for each bursary holder to produce a photographic project focusing on man’s relationship with the marine world, around the same territory – Sète, Étang de Thau and the Golfe du Lion.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDeadline: April 14th 2024\nFee: free\nLink: https://theeyeswideopen.eu/en/the-ronan-guillou-grants/ ( https://theeyeswideopen.eu/en/the-ronan-guillou-grants/ )\n
