DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\nWhether you are a professional photographer, an emerging talent, or an amateur enthusiast, this open call is your chance to have your work seen by a global audience and to contribute to a larger conversation about the interplay between humans and nature. Submissions can include documentary photography, fine art photography, and any other form of contemporary photography that explores the theme in a meaningful and impactful way.\nThe jury will select ONE WINNER who will receive a 1000 EUR cash prize and have a solo exhibition in Kranj, Slovenia, at the program of Kranj Foto Fest 2023 (from August 23rd to September 23rd 2023), and will shortlist a number of photographers for group exhibitions all around the picturesque alpine town of Kranj.\nFor a whole month, at the warm height of European summer, the old town of Kranj will once again be transformed into an exciting hub of contemporary photography bringing together emerging and established photographers from all over the world. The city becomes an open-air gallery with photo exhibitions happening in the streets, at historic landmarks, in art centres, galleries, forests and by the river.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSubmit your work and get the chance to be part of this experience at the international festival of contemporary photography Kranj Foto Fest.
